Cultivation no. 4 (22x30")

This series began as a paper for wiping off my brush. The color combination drew my attention, and I began playing, exploring, and adding thin layers of wet paint. Botanical shapes eventually emerged. This piece/series is a welcome reminder to let go and see what unfolds.
