Artist Onboarding
We are thrilled to have you on board!
Here are your next steps:
- Read & sign the Artist Agreement.

Complete your W-9 and email it to jessie@artbeatnashville.com. (You can download a form here)
- Request to open an Art Beat account here.
Once we approve your account, you can begin setting up your gallery page!
- Below is a Step-by-step guide on adding your art to the website.

How to Art Beat
Log in to your portal
The portal is located at https://portal.artbeatnashville.com and this is where you will do pretty much everything.
If you don't have (or just don't remember) your login info, reach out to Aaron.
Complete your profile
Once you are logged in, navigate to the PROFILE tab and fill out the forms. Most of the items here are optional.
Required items to add are:
• Profile Pic (this is labeled as "Your Business Logo" but we would much rather have a pic of your face 🙂)
• Contact Name
• Payout Info 👉 please scroll down to where it says PAYOUTS and connect your bank account so we can pay you!
Upload your products
• Select the PRODUCT tab and then click on the CREATE PRODUCT button.
• Add your title and a brief description. Artists typically at least add the size and medium here.
• IMAGES — Please upload evenly-lit, clear images of your work. Smart phone photos are usually fine, as long as they are at least 1500px on the longest side. Add at least one image of the artwork straight-on and cropped to the artwork's edge. Feel free to add any lifestyle photos/videos showcasing your piece as well.
• VARIANTS — you only need to check this box if you have multiple variations of the SAME product. Once you check the box, it will give you the option of adding variations.
• PRICE — enter the RETAIL price of your product
• INVENTORY — Please input your Quantity here. SKU numbers are completely optional.
• PUBLISH STATUS — Leave this on Draft for now.
• PRODUCT TYPE — Select either "Original Art" or "Prints" (these are case-sensitive)
• TAGS — See below. (no hashtags required on the tags)
👉 Vendor Tag — vendor_firstname_lastname (example: vendor_aaron_grayum)
👉 Style Tag — pick one or two below that best fits your piece:
- category_pop_whimsy
- category_nashville
- category_mixed_media
- category_figurative_portraits
- category_landscapes_outdoor
- category_botanicals_florals
- category_abstract
- category_fine_art_prints
- category_photography
- category_surreal
- category_still_life
- category_animals
👉 Color Tag — pick one or two that best represents the overall feel of the piece (don't include the words in parentheses):
- color_warm (oranges, reds, yellows, golds)
- color_cool (blues, greens, teals, purples)
- color_neutral (grays, whites, beiges, browns)
- color_bold (high contrast, saturated, vibrant)
- color_pastel (soft, muted, light tones)
👉 Size Tag — optional but recommended! If you want the dimensions of your piece to show when customers hover over it in the gallery, add a size tag in this format:
- size_8x10
- size_11x14
- size_16x20
- size_24x36
- etc. — just follow the same format for any size
Go live!
Once you have uploaded your products, email Aaron so we can review. Once approved, we can then activate your art on the site.
